Within the broader goal of celebrating the diverse cultures and values Africa has to offer, AfrikFest has three specific missions:

First, AfrikFest is determined to showcase and promote our cultural heritage by organizing annual festivals that highlight the rich culture of the continent. We hope these festivals will becoming rooted as a yearly tradition that brings together community members in the spirit of celebration!

Second, AfrikFest will work toward improving community cohesion between local, national, and global entrepreneurs and the African community by creating business relationships through the process of event planning. We encourage businesses to show their support for the African community by participating in the festivities as vendors or sponsors.

Finally, AfrikFest hopes to inspire education and celebration of African cultures. In conjunction with Las Vegas authorities, we will use the festivals as opportunities to recognize and honor deserving African leaders who have contributed to cultural development and capacity building over the past two years.
